Miss Sophie’s Holiday Club
A brand day out
A start-up organising children’s excursions in and around London over weekends and during the school holidays. Miss Sophie’s approached us in need of a brand identity and a website where parents could book and pay for their child’s day out online. The brand needed to be fun, educational, reference London but most importantly engender trust, security and care.
We set out to create an identity that was designed for parents, not the children. The logotype features juxtaposing typography that feels fun yet authoritative. We used London landmarks as the main graphic element, making Miss Sophie’s easily identifiable as a London based business. The blue colour palette, a soft rounded open typeface and simple line drawn illustrations that inspire adventure all emphasise Miss Sophie’s Holiday Club as an imaginative, friendly, trustworthy and educational brand.
